The Reminder

She sat down besides an old well. It was crack of dawn and everything was so murky but her pinkish white features were the beautiful facet that can be gawk at visibly. Her name is Miranda. She lives in the cryptic forest alone. Her Aunt Mathilde, the only one who lives with her, died year ago. When Aunt Mathilde was about to breathe her last breath, she gave Miranda a necklace. Besides the old house in the deep forest, it was the only thing Aunt Mathilde can give to Miranda. Aunt Mathilde reminded Miranda to wear it anywhere she goes.

One day, Miranda was curious of what is outside of the forest. For all of her life, she was only roaming around the deep forest, planting and harvesting crops and doing household chores with Aunt Mathilde. She went out of the house. She borrowed Aunt Mathilde’s old body bag. She went out of the house and started to walk through the big sturdy trees. She reached the bottom of the forest. Miranda was amazed of what she had discovered. It was a vast ocean. Very enchanting and sunny, she decided to bathe in the ocean. She undressed herself and enjoyed the warmth of the sea and sun. While bathing, she sensed that someone’s looking at her. She perused the milieu and found out that there were many of them looking at her. There were mermaids on the seashore.

The mermaids were having fun looking at her. They were astounded of Miranda; not only with the feet but as well as the pinkish white features. Miranda with her bright and friendly comportment went closer to them; she was amazed too. It was her first time to see mermaids. The mermaids were friendly too. Miranda said to the mermaids that she admire them; the mermaids admire her too in riposte. They became friends until Miranda frequently visits the area and have a implausible time with the mermaids.

One morning, Miranda was early in the mermaid’s seashore. Coming nearly, she was wondering what were the mermaids looking at. When she finally saw it, it was an insensible man dressed like he’s elite in a society. The man finally woke up. The mermaids swam back in the ocean leaving Miranda with the man. Miranda didn’t know what to do. She asked the man what is his name. The man said that his name is Tyron, Head of Guards in the Kingdom of Mirania. Tyron recounted how he got to the seashore. He said he was searching for the long lost princess of the Kingdom Mirania. He was the one that was summoned to search for the princess. He got on the shore because the horse that he was riding last night became wild when something in the sea was infuriating it; then he hardly fell from the horse and became unconscious.

They now knew each other. They laugh in each other’s gag while the mermaids where peeping. Suddenly at the break of the day, Tyron notices Miranda’s necklace. Tyron looked closely at the necklace and declared that it was the Reminder. He asked Miranda if who’s the owner of the necklace. Miranda said that it was her Aunt Mathilde’s. Now, it is apparent to Tyron’s mind that Aunt Mathilde was the long mislaid princess of Mirania. Tyron said that he is summoned to find Aunt Mathilde because there will be no heir of their realm; the King and Queen by now is dead. Aunt Mathilde scamper away from her realm because she didn’t want the one who she’s going to marry and that time she was also pregnant. Long ago, King Mieron and Queen Mathilda, Princess Mathilde’s parents discovered that their only daughter has a relationship with Marlo, the son of the gardener of their realm. They estranged them and let Princess Mathilde marry Prince Liano of Realm Quillan while Marlo was cast to the brutes of the sea. Princess Mathilde dashed away pregnant before she was about to get hitched to Prince Liano.

Miranda was dazed about what she learned about Aunt Mathilde’s background. Tyron asked Miranda to open the locket of the necklace. It was tightly locked. Tyron opened it for Miranda. There was an engraved phrase that affirmed “Mathilde, Princess of Mirania”. There was also a piece of paper and it was an avowal from Aunt Mathilde. There divulged that Miranda is the daughter of Princess Mathilde and Marlo.

Miranda and Tyron went together to the Kingdom of Mirania. The people there acknowledged Miranda’s presence. The bureaucrats decided that Miranda would be the heir of the Realm of Mirania. Profligate revelries were prepared for the coronation. The revelries were all held on the seashore where mermaid friends of Miranda can attend.

On one of the revelries, the mermaids confessed to Miranda that they infuriate the horse of Tyron but they didn’t mean to hurt Tyron. The mermaids said that it was an order from their highness. Suddenly, a huge tornado from the sea appeared, and then the Lord of the Seas appeared. The Lord of the Seas was really handsome and has a pinkish-white complexion. He introduced himself. He is Lord Marlo of the Seas and he said he is the father of the new queen of Mirania. Indeed, he’s the father of Miranda. Miranda cried. Tears of elation flowed down from her eyes. She tried to hug her father but she can’t. Marlo now is an immortal; his body is made purely of water but he’s still a father that wants the good for his child.

Now, Miranda’s ruling the kingdom with the help of his father. She was greatly accepted by the people because of her good manner. Her realm loved her. She was also admired by most of the princes in other realms but only one made her fall in love and it was Tyron, the Head of Guards and the son of the gardener of the Kingdom of Mirania.

I Don't Know Why

But there is something that is forcing me to do it. Maybe it's my other side that's giving me a push to pursue. Maybe it's something, some one or what. I just can't say what it is right know. I don't know. I'm kind of confused.
